Scope:
Unwritten Florals is the culmination of founder Vanessa Diaz’ affinity for flora and fauna through a biological lens, as well as the sacred techniques picked up along the way while navigating through the floral industry. Nothing moves her more than being able to tell the stories of love and life by way of movement, gesture, color, and shared environments.
Vanessa reached out with the desire to elevate her brand and website to match the level of her work.
The focus of The Unwritten Florals ecosystem is to recreate and elevate the visual landscape of this incredible milestone in someone's life through florals that are inspiring, nuanced, and engaging. For the brand identity, we wanted to explore ideas of balance, contrast, and engagement, so varying weights and widths of typography were implemented as well as smooth curves and swoops.
For the website, we let the images of her work be the center of attention was the primary focus, while making it easy for potential clients to understand what goes into working with her and what makes her work unique.
Ultimately, floral design is more than gathering random assortments of blooms; it's the emotional intelligence to understand the client's aspirational vision for their wedding day and choose an intentional collection of flowers to bring that vision (and more) to life.
