Do you only work with certain industries?

We specialize in creative small businesses, service providers, and social justice organizations.We do not restrict ourselves to one niche because, frankly, we are more interested in the personality, perspective, and creative potential behind the business than the industry label attached to it.

How long does the entire process take?

Most projects take 4 to 12 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on the scope.

A smaller website or focused refresh may move faster. A full brand, copy, website, and development project will need more room because there are more moving parts and we are not trying to rush the parts that make the whole thing work.

Your proposal will include a timeline based on what we’re building together.

What is expected of me during this process?

Our process requires active participation.

We’ll guide the process, ask the right questions, make the creative calls, and tell you when something is not the move. But we do need your input, feedback, and timely responses to keep the project moving.

You’ll always know what we need from you and when we need it.

What is a semi-custom website?

A semi-custom website is built from one of our in-house website templates, then customized to fit your brand, content, and goals.

It is a good fit when you need a strong, strategic website without building every single piece from scratch.You still get thoughtful design, structure, and customization, but miss some of the heavier lift that comes with a fully custom build.

Do I need to have everything figured out before we start?

Nope. Figuring things out is a big part of the work.

That said, we do need a few basics in place before we start: your brand name, website domain/URL, and brand or website photography.

If you don’t have photography yet, royalty-free stock photography can be sourced for an additional fee.

What if I already have a brand identity I love but just need a website?

If your existing identity is strong enough to support the website, we can build from there. If we notice gaps that could affect the final result, we’ll tell you before we start forcing a new site to carry a brand system that needs more support.

What if I've already written my website copy?

We're happy to work with your existing copy! Our copywriters can review and refine what you've written to ensure it maintains a consistent voice and is optimized for both conversion and SEO. Sometimes a professional polish is all you need to transform good copy into “yoooo this is good, who wrote this?!” copy.

What platform do you build websites on?

We build websites on Squarespace, Webflow, Framer, and Showit depending on the project.

Squarespace is user-friendly and works well for many service-based businesses.Webflow is better for more custom builds, complex layouts, and animation-heavy sites.We’ll recommend the platform that makes the most sense for your goals, your content, and your ability to update the site after launch.The website you're currently on is built on Webflow!

Will I be able to update my website myself after launch?

Absolutely! We build on user-friendly platforms and provide pre-recorded training videos at the end of the project so you can confidently manage your website after launch. We'll make sure you know how to update content, add new pages, and make basic changes.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Yes! Every website project includes 15 to 30 days of post-launch support for website questions, fixes, and small requests.For larger ongoing needs, we can talk through support options after launch.
